Weekly Grease Trap Maintenance

1. Fill Sinks with Hot Water
Plug drains in sinks that lead to trap. Fill sinks with hot water.

2. Put Simix in Water
Sprinkle Simix Cleaner powder into water. Use 1 large scoop for every 8-10 gallons of water.

3. Mix Simix
Mix Simix powder into water with large spoon, whisk or paddle.

4. Drain Sinks
Drain the sinks. Go back to step 1 and repeat the process until you have drained 3 sinks full of hot water.​

1. Fill Mop Bucket with Hot Water
Use the hottest water you can safely use.

2. Put Simix in Water
In a 3 gallon bucket, use 1 tbsp. for daily cleaning. Use 2 tbsp. for heavy duty cleaning. Mix Simix water with mop.

3. Mop Floors
Mop floors until they are clean.

4. Dump Water
Dump the water down the drain.
 

 Deep Clean Ovens, Baked-On Grease, Ceilings, Walls

1. Spray Bottle and/or Sink?
Plug drain and fill sinks with hottest water available. Or, grab a clean Simix-labeled spray bottle. Fill with water.

2. Put Simix in Water
Add Simix Cleaner powder to hot water.  In the sink, use 1 large scoop for every 5 gallons of water. Or, add ½  tsp. to spray bottle.

3. Soak Surface
Soak pans and oven parts in water in sink for up to 20 minutes. Or, spray surface with spray bottle.

4. Wipe with Clean Cloth
Soaked items: rinse and wipe clean. Sprayed surface: wipe clean.

1. Mix Simix Powder with Water
Fill clean, empty, one gallon bottle with hot water. Add 1/2 small scoop of Simix.

Use a clean cloth to wipe clean.
